2025: CELEBRATING 35 YEARS IN THE INDUSTRY

CLIENT OVERVIEW AND PROJECT BRIEF

Hurst Accountants required the transformation of a basic Category A office space into a fully fitted Category B environment tailored specifically for their operational needs. The project demanded a high-quality finish and adherence to precise timelines, dictated by the client's scheduled move-in date.

SCOPE OF WORK

Working closely with renowned designer Sheila Bird, Contact One’s goal was to deliver an office space that reflected the client’s vision, featuring an environment designed for functionality, staff productivity and aesthetic appeal. Sheila Bird's creative intent aimed for distinctive finishes and a colour scheme that would make the new office stand out, while meeting the client’s overall wishes for the layout and aesthetics of the final result.

Contact One also modified the existing ducting work to look tidier and built new office spaces, tea-making areas and a bespoke reception area, fully optimising the use of the office layout.

OUR APPROACH AND EXECUTION

To achieve the vision, the project required comprehensive planning and execution, involving the transformation of a basic Cat A space into a detailed Cat B specification. This included bespoke joinery that closely followed the designer's specifications, high-quality finishes aligned precisely with the provided colour schemes, and modifications to the flow of the office, including the construction of office partitions tailored to the functional needs of Hurst Accountants. Given the client's fixed deadline driven by their relocation schedule, our project management strategy put resources and processes in place to meet the stringent timeframe without compromising on quality standards.

FINAL OUTCOME AND CLIENT FEEDBACK

The finished office space met all design intentions and transformed the working environment completely. Attention to detail and careful project management enabled a smooth transition, allowing staff to seamlessly move into their new environment on schedule. The resulting workspace now effectively supports daily operations, offering both practical efficiency and visual appeal.

The feedback from our team and visitors has been overwhelmingly positive. Staff morale has noticeably improved, and clients frequently comment on the impressive design and atmosphere of our office. The space not only reflects our brand and values but also enhances the overall experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
